 4 Common Low Energy Myths

From time to time everyone experiences what feels like low energy. We complain of feeling under the weather, tired or lethargic. We feel like we don’t have enough energy to even move. Most hands on healing techniques work on the premise that we can give positive healing energy to those that need it. Entire philosophies are built around this idea. It is very popular thought to believe that a ‘healer’ has the ability to receive energy from somewhere and channel it through to the client who needs it. We like the idea that someone else can fix us. We need to re-frame our conceptions around energy and it’s manifestation in the human system. Fact is that we always have the same amount of energy available to us – so what happens? There are 4 low energy myths that people commonly feel trapped by.

Myth #1. You can be full of energy one day and have none the next.

You always have the same amount of energy. Your energy belongs and fits only with you. Your energy will be distributed throughout your 4 body system to accommodate its’ needs. When you feel out of balance try to recognize what you’ve done to exacerbate the situation and where exactly your energy is being focused. Give yourself permission to quickly and easily rectify the problem and re-balance the flow of energy in the body.

Myth #2. There are people who literally suck all the energy out of us.

You always have the same amount of energy. Your energy belongs and fits only with you. Your energy can only go where you allow it to go. No one can take anything from you if you don’t allow it. But from time to time we feel drained around certain people and situations. If you are feeling like your energy has been sucked from you, it is time to relearn your energy coping skills. There are only a few specific things that could be happening:

i) You are expanding your energy field to an uncomfortably large parameter – usually in an attempt to be all things to all people; bring your attention back to center core, allow your field to shrink and breathe it back out to a comfortable place. Allow your field to contract and expand freely without intention.

ii) You are drawing your energy in to an unbearably tight parameter, usually in order to control your space and feel safe. The energy systems of the body expand and contract constantly, trying to control them will create fatigue, irritability and resentment. Don’t be afraid to be involved with another.

iii) You are sending or allowing energy to be drawn towards another’s field where it doesn’t belong. You cannot use your energy to heal another. You cannot exchange energy with someone else for a permanent result. Check your ego, practice detached compassion, find your core and regroup.

iv) You’ve surrendered your individuality and have merged fields with others in common situations. It can take time to restore your own field if you linger mentally with the situation after you’ve physically left it, as in a coming home after work. Take some time alone to regroup and be selfish, draw attention to your breathing, drink some water and relax before starting the next round of responsibilities.

Myth #3. You have to rest today to build up your energy for tomorrow.

You always have the same amount of energy. The body doesn’t store energy. If you have exerted yourself in an unusual manner your usable energy will have to be redistributed to compensate for the situation and it may take a while for the energy to rebalance. You can assist this by congratulating yourself on your growth and express gratitude. Gratitude will help you find a new point of balance.

Myth #4. You have no energy when you are sick.

You always have the same amount of energy! Your available energy is only being used in different ways for different purposes than when you are well. When people get sick energy changes state and when they stubbornly try to work through it at a normal pace, they will feel as though they have no energy. If useable energy is spent trying to keep pace that needs to be directed into boosting the immune system or healing muscle systems, then the body messages of “STOP, I CAN’T KEEP GOING!” get louder, and they will keep on getting louder until the body finally crashes.

The body mind knows how to distribute energy to keep the entire being, body, mind and soul in good functioning order. Pay attention and listen. Show yourself respect by doing what you need to do to maintain balance.

You should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

Check out a color called "straw harvest." It's name says it all – it's a warm understated color. Very welcoming & not distracting. To your question about the windows & ceiling, I wouldn't use a *white* white. I would use a creamy white – like "dover white."

Enjoying the lovely weather, Katie Price was spotted leaving the MayFair Hotel in London, England today (July 22).

Carrying her daughter Princess Tiaamii, the glamour girl sported a pair of dark sunglasses to shield herself from the paparazzi.

In career news, Katie has pulled out of a big upcoming gig, perhaps the result of her new single taking a flop.

Price was scheduled to perform on Saturday at G-A-Y club night in London, but she’s pulled the plug.

I think 'unexplainable' means 'unexplained'. It seems that everything eventually gets explained or is found to not exist at all. Times change and the things we see change. 3-400 years ago some folk claimed to see fairies, pixies and goblins. Nobody believes in them anymore. Nowadays it's more common to hear folk claiming to see grey aliens or chupacabra. I grew up in a house where friends and family heard voices and footsteps. These incidents are unexplained, but I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation.

In addition, even our friend above has an explanation. He's bored or maybe just entertaining himself. He doesn't have a 'demon' unless it's in the metaphorical sense.

During most of this February, temperatures have been at least 8°F higher than we'd normally see. April is a wonderful month to be in Paris usually, but sometimes it rains often and long, other years less.

Basically, March and April are very unpredictable weather-wise, whereas May-June are genrally very mild and warm.

We don't know enough to do a calculation like that. Let's first discover the quantum of the field, then try to nail down how it interacts with the other fields, then maybe see how it contributes to the vacuum energy.

I agree with Katie. The Reiki energy can be directed to recipients at a distance through the power of intention. Although Reiki is not connected to any religion, in the way that one may pray for another person who is not present, the intention of the person praying combined with the power of the intelligence being prayed to (God) come together to offer relief for the one being prayed for. There are many documented studies on the effectiveness of prayer on healing (Skeptics). It is a similar process.

Actually, no. Magnets actually don't contain energy. You have to do the work – they just have the ability to convert mechanical energy into electrical current.

Power plants generate alternating current by burning coal or gasoline, using radioactive decay for heat, either of those producing steam, to turn big turbines that spin magnets in conductive coils. That's the cheapest and most reliable way to get electrical energy. But either the conductor or the magnet have to be moving in order to get a current.

Plus there's the fact that earth's magnetic field is really really weak, anyway.

I can not say what the average is in places like that but I did see one practitioner charging $120. I imagine that is a similar rate to what massage therapists charge. A practitioner should charge a rate that is comparable to other practitioners in their area and one that is commensurate with cost of living. Where it is more expensive to live and rent office space, one must charge more, where living and office rent are lower one need not charge too much.

A practitioner should offer the same rates or the same sliding scale to all clients. I hope this answers your question.
