Both baking soda and baking powder are leavening agents. You should buy the best of both that you can. If you don't bake often, buy in small quantities as they don't last forever, baking soda is also used as a cleaning agent, because of its grittiness, and oder inhibitor, put it in both your freezer and refrigerator.

Vinegar is a weak solution of acetic acid. Acid denatures (unravels) the protein in milk to make the curds. Baking soda is a base. It neutralizes the acid in the vinegar.

I got much better results with Hydrogen Peroxide. It is also the only thing I ever found to remove cat urine from baseboards so I buy the expensice 35% solution from a health food store. then I dilute it 4/1.

Hi, A friend who has pets recently bought a Eureka boss smart vac ultra 4870 and she loves it. She said it was recommended by a leading consumer magazine and rated right up there with higher priced vacuums. It was priced around 150.00 and really cleans carpets and bare floors. If you already have a nice vacuum you're probably getting it as clean as he did. There are no MAGIC vacuums. There are however, TRICKS OF THE TRADE, to make you think his machine is really exceptional. And even if you are really impressed, I'm sure you can probably go online to Ebay and find brand new ones being sold for less than 1/2 the price. I found this out when a Kirby vacuum salesman came by my house. Don't be fooled!
