Top Money Saving Tips For You to Try

Try these money saving and time saving ideas, they really work!

Please check (either by phone or online) that your current energy provider has placed you on the cheapest tariff. I had been with British Gas for both gas and electricity for over 12 months, and discovered that I was on the Standard Tariff, unfortunately there were two cheaper tariffs, but British Gas had failed to mention this.I was switched over to WebSaver 6 which has made quite a difference.

  • Always request paperless billing, it is very easy to print off a copy of your online bill for your records.
  • Mobile Phone. When your contract ends, and you are due for an upgrade, you will get a much better deal if you change networks. Then as a new customer you will get more free minutes, more texts, for a lot lower price.
  • Home and Motor Insurance. Never automatically renew your policies before trying out one of the many you will not believe how much you will save. If you higher your policy excess you will get a lower premium.
  • Free Trials Online. When you sign up for a free trial online, usually for 30 days, dont forget to read the small print. If you do not cancel the trial before the end of the 30 days they will charge you every month until you do.
  • Use a facial cleansing wipe to clean the leaves of your house plants.
  • Keep an aloe-vera houseplant on your kitchen window sill. If you burn yourself or you get stung, just tear the end off one of the leaves and place the gel directly on to the skin, it will instantly soothe.
  • Place some pebbles in the bottom of your hanging baskets before planting them up, they will help to retain the moisture.
  • If you like cheap and cheerful jewellery, go to a charity shop and buy a couple of mug trees, you can use them to hang all your necklaces, bracelets and beads.
  • If you keep your make-up in a drawer organise it by buying plastic food containers, place them in the drawer leaving no gaps, and you will be able to keep it all tidy.
  • Clean your mirrors and glass topped tables with an equal amount of white spirit vinegar and water in a spray bottle, wipe dry with a lint free cloth.
  • Use a cotton wool bud dipped in white vinegar to clean your keypad and telephone.
  • Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda on to your carpets, leave for 15 minutes before vacuuming, this will deodorise your carpets, especially good if you have pets!
  • Throw half a cup of bicarbonate of soda down the toilet and leave overnight, this takes away all the limescale.
  • Make inquiries about changing over to a water meter.
  • If you use a hot water bottle, don’t throw the water away in the morning, pour it into a jug and you can use it to water your houseplants!
  • If you need a new boiler or radiators, always purchase yourself direct from the wholesaler, then pay a certified gas engineer to install them, this way you save the 20% minimum mark up on the price that you would have been charged by the tradesman.

One of the best leather upholstery shops from LA to San Diego is San Diego Upholstery. They can turn an old beat up piece of leather furniture into a work of art because they are expert craftsmen. They will give you a free estimate and at least down here, they have free pick up and delivery as far as north county diego, so ask if they will come out there as well. They have been in business since the 60's and are well known in the interior design community for their excellent work and results. I think they may have changed their name to either Palm Avenue or United Upolstery, but you can reach them at 619-286-0713 or contact them through their website, http://www.sandiegoupholstery.com. You are really sweet to take responsibility for the damage your kitty caused to something so special to your folks.

i recomend cozumel. its like cancun but cleaner and less tourist-y. I love it there! a nice hotel is el presidente. its so pretty, the corridor looks like a rainforrest and your rooms opens up to the beach where you can lay in a hammock and the cabana boys bring you drinks and food! When we went we spent about 3,000 for a family of four. and we stayed a week. that included airfare. if you can go through AAA they planned our entire trip. good luck and congrats
heres the hotel link:

yes you can grow carrots in a window box, you will have to look around for seeds called Amsterdam Forcing. these are a small tender root, quick growing veriaty. what about spring onions, lettice or hurbs. look around on the net and you will find loads of things to grow in window boxs.
have u thought about chillis or peppers these are quite fun to grow to.

A ballot referendum that would place tougher regulations on businesses that raise and sell dogs has set off a battle between animal rights groups and agricultural interests.

Why not give incentives to men who have vasectomies? Are humans that ignorant? I got one and I’m not “psychology” affected. Males and their “balls”, sheesh.

In Time’s Person of the Year 2010 article on Mark Zuckerberg, one fact shouts out to me above all others: 1 in 4 Web pages in the United States is now viewed behind the walls of Facebook. I enjoy Facebook and would be happy spending a quarter of my Web life there, if I could leave Facebook for the other 75%. But even if I log out completely, most of the Web’s most popular sites are tied to Facebook, through Share or Like or Connect buttons. Facebook is not just another Web site: it is a service that “Facebookizes” every Web site it touches, making me bring all of my friends with me, like luggage. It’s disconcerting being on a Web site that I’m used to browsing anonymously, and seeing my friends’ faces there. And so I have a holiday wish: Facebook, let me dance if I want to, let me leave my friends behind. For the last twenty years, we’ve enjoyed One Web that is united through the common policy of letting us be whoever we want to be, wherever we go. One Web allows us at times to be…

I needed to throw those puke bags out otherwise the smell would have made me sick. I can't fly a plane and throw up at the same time. You couldn't have given me $1000 for them.
