I’m often asked what is “energy healing” or “vibrational energy work.” Actually the question usually is more like, “Just what is it that you are doing?” Well, it’s a big subject, so I will try to provide a somewhat simple answer!
My definition of energy work, or energy healing, is: the act of re-organizing energy or energetic information. Energy and information go hand in hand. Energy is information. There is a consciousness or intelligence to it. And by looking at the energy of things we can understand something about what we are seeing or feeling.
If you didn’t get a degree in quantum physics, no worries-here’s a breakdown of the ideas both science and spirituality are grappling with.
- Everything is energy. It all boils down to atoms and sub-atomic particles…maybe things even smaller than that!
- Subatomic particles sometimes behave as matter particles – very small particles zooming around – and sometimes they behave as flowing energy waves.
- Many of us believe there is something beyond the material universe (what our biological minds can see right now). This might be called a quantum field or a different dimension. Whatever it’s called, its a realm of higher vibrations in which there is only pure energy.
- There is no barrier between pure energy and matter-energy just flows.
- The process whereby energy takes on material form seems inescapably linked to some form of consciousness. Quantum physicists have discovered that no matter could be created without the involvement of a conscious mind.
- When energy becomes matter, or takes on form, it holds a unique intelligence. The atoms that make up an eye are the same atoms that make up my desk, but each holds different information. The energy that is fear is the same as joy…it’s all energy, just different information is held within it’s “intelligence.”
- There is a Universal Energy Field and, for this discussion, a Human Energy Field. Although everything is energy so everything has a field.
- The human energy field is affected by emotions, biological structures, energetic structures, thoughts as well as energy or information moving through our field. (These are the basic affecting factors.)
- Emotions are “directed energy” aka a very directed flow of information. Emotions give instructions to our biological structures. This “instruction” goes to tissues, organs and systems. It’s a two way street however, so if tissue or organs are holding a distorted energy, it can affect us emotionally.
So what does this mean for energy healing? Well, when organized energy becomes dis-organized or distorted, we run into problems. How does energy become dis-organized? My belief is when energy gets distorted from it’s natural state (when pure energy moves into matter) OR to the vibrational level that we each can uniquely hold, it becomes distorted.
We each have the ability to hold our own unique levels of information or energy, and this is part of our spiritual evolution; evolving through the ability to hold higher and higher levels of vibrational information. So, if the distortion in our energy is too great, we feel it. And if these distortions pull us out of alignment with what our energy intelligence or Soul is to hold, we really feel it. These “distortions” may be a result of our holding an energy frequency that is too low for us (we may be stuck in an old pattern or in fear of holding the higher vibration) and thus we are needing to shift that vibration to a higher level. Or, the “distortion” may be a temporary glitch so to speak…our bodies processing information or emotions which cause a vibrational disorganization.
My job is to look at where our energy is distorted or un-organized and support it into shifting and clearing back into a state of balance and clarity or into a higher form which is in alignment with your own unique Soul needs. This can be done by supporting the overall energetic structure of the human energy field (which has its own intelligence) or any of the factors that affect this field. We can also support the energetic system by connecting to the universal energy field and even this mysterious “other,” where pure energy information is held to bring in clear energetic structures and energy/information to aid in the process.
Energy is neither good nor bad…it just is. Energy work is about re-organizing energy so it flows and the information held is closest to its purest form for each of us on our evolutionary process. And because energy can change with thought…mine or yours, as well as it’s own inherent intelligence, energy healing can shift and change our personal experience and physical health.

Piezoelectric materials work quite simply, in theory — motion in, electricity out, or vice versa — and since that’s just how speakers and microphones transmit their sound, it’s not much of a stretch to imagine someone would figure out audio on a micron scale. That someone is MIT’s Yoel Fink, who’s reportedly engineered a marvelous process for producing fibers that can detect and emit sound. Following up their famous work on flexible cameras, Fink’s team discovered they could keep piezoelectric strands rigid enough to produce audible vibrations by inserting graphite, AKA pencil lead. Better yet, the lab process can apparently make the threads on a fairly large scale, “yielding tens of metres of piezoelectric fibre” at a single draw. The potential for fabric made from such fibers is fantastic, of course — especially combined with this particular scientist’s previous research into camera cloth. MIT’s piezoelectric fibers can act as speaker or microphone, don’t mind auto-tune…

A shockwave is like a sound wave except that it either liquifies the air by compression or causes water vapor to condense. A sound wave moves thru the air with perfect efficiency; a shockwave looses energy and leaves behind a trail of heat.
There is a lot of it and it produces a fair amount of energy for each reaction.

The scientific definition of energy is the ability to do work. Work is the transfer of energy to move an object a certain distance. The rate at which work is done is called power. The ratio of work and time determines the amount of power used. For example, imagine that two people start at the bottom of a mountain with the goal of reaching the top. The first person hikes to the top in a short amount of time. The second person scales the rocks to the top which takes a much longer amount of time. The same amount of work was done by both (they reached the top of the mountain), but the hiker has more power since the distance traveled was completed in a shorter amount of time.

There are different kinds of energy healing. Massage is a type of energy healing because it stimulates the muscles and nerves to release energy blocks. Accupuncture, accupressure, reflexology are also energy treatments that unblock energy. Chiropractors manipulate muscles to move bones around. This releases energy. Prayer is a type of energy work. The intention can release or move energy blocks. Chakra cleansing has the effect of allowing energy to be received in the chakra. I can go on and on but you really need to be more specific. Do a little research before you ask a question.

( option A is definitely not…) energy cannot be created or destroyed, so D is out too. according to physics, power is energy/time, or energy used per unit time.. thus B is out too. most probably it's option c, because when u do some type of work e.g moving an object across a surface, energy is required. thus i would say B

The Law of Divine Oneness is a bringing together of all elemental principles. It states that every thing and every one, physical or non physical are connected through Universal energy.
Everyone of us has their own interpritation of Universal energy, be it God, Budda, Jehova, Allah but it is the Divine energy that is us.
We are not only connected to this energy, we are this energy.
In understanding the question ‘why are we here?’ we need only look at this law. Energy in its non physical sense is etherial, no form. Energy is however pure consciousness and this consciousness desired to know its own magnificence but without touch, taste, smell it had no means of expressing this.
Consciousness thought the physical realm into being and all elements of it. Consciouness fragmented and parts of itself (energy) emerged into the physical elements.
As energy beings we are here to create experiences that will bring us to the knowing we are pure consciousness, Divine energy and our energy beings are always the indicators for when our physical beings are out of alignment with their true essence. When we are disconnected through experiences or situations, we ‘feel’ uncomfortable, restless and this is our indicator that we need to exercise in getting back into alignment, to be connected, to be living from our energy.
